Halter dress

The halter dress usually has a beautiful neckline, where 2 pieces of material meet behind the neck with a low cut back, often it is referred to as a halterneck.

The advantage of the halter dress is that it attracts attention to the top half of your body, thus why the halter dress is often a favourite of those who have hips or legs they don’t want to attract attention to!

When wearing a halter dress don’t wear a necklace or statement jewellery around the neck as it will interfere with the line of the halter dress.  Also it is generally wise to wear your hair up with a halter dress to accentuate the neckline.

The halter dress is generally not flattering to those of you who are busty, although the temptation with the halter dress can be to wear a tighter top for more support this will make the halter dress look less flattering as it can actually make you look bigger!

You can find bras to wear with a halter dress but make sure that it is the same shape as your halter dress or it can look very unflattering!

One secret with the halter dress is that thicker straps work better for larger girls and smaller straps on the halter dress for smaller girls.
